WE ARE HIRING DZ DELIVERY DRIVER!
Our busy organic and natural food distribution company is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base.
Job Responsibilities:
- Load and unload safely and accurately.
- Accurately complete all documentation daily, responsible for carrying out all prescribed pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment
- Responsible for monitoring refrigeration temperature during the route
- Must comply with all MTO requirements at all times, drive safely and defensively
- Reporting any traffic offences / infringement notices gained in a company vehicle to management immediately.
- Comply with Health and Safety requirements of the Health and Safety Procedures Manual.
- Be professional, punctual, comply with company policy and take part in self-development and staff training as provided by the company.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class DZ License & Clean Abstract with minimum 2 years of DZ driving experience
- Strong knowledge of the GTA and surrounding areas
- Effective communication skills and strong customer service skill required
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude
- Must be able to lift 50lb
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines
Compensation and Benefits:
- Wage $21.50-$24/hr + benefits after 3 months of probationary period.
